WHY CONSERVATION MATTERS
Our Natural Heritage Needs Our Care
The Cape Floral Kingdom is globally recognised for its extraordinary plant diversity and high levels of endemism. But biodiversity faces increasing pressures from habitat loss, invasive species, inappropriate land use, climate change and other environmental challenges.
Conservation is everyone's responsibility.
Protect. Restore. Educate. Inspire.
NATURE NEEDS HEROES. BE ONE.
Our Conservation Focus
Support the protection of indigenous biodiversity and important natural habitats.
Help restore degraded landscapes through indigenous vegetation and practical conservatio
Build knowledge and inspire the next generation of conservation heroes.
Encourage biodiversity knowledge, observation, citizen science and conservation learning.
Connect people and communities with practical opportunities to care for nature.
Use photography, art and storytelling to make biodiversity visible and meaningful.
